THE HOUSE
The architecturally designed 'WHITEHOUSE' was built 10 years ago within a superior location close to Woodford House and Iona College both boarding schools for girls.
Karin and Doug have created modifications that include an ensuite for the Iona suite and an outside spa pool and deck that takes in the fantastic views of the Heretaunga plains, one of New Zealand's most fertile growing regions. The home provides two luxury suites and access to our upstairs lounge and decks for outside alfresco dining. The Whitehouse is situated to maximize both sun and views and is only a 5 minute drive to the Village of Havelock North.
THE GARDEN
Recently constructed to take in this romantic setting and views, Karin and Doug have provided for guests a deck, table and chairs and Spa pool that enables guests to relax in all weather conditions with a glass of wine, beer and home baking.
BREAKFAST
Breakfast is a highlight of your stay at The Whitehouse. It can be served around our formal dining table or alfresco on the deck.
Every effort is made to use local product . Here in Hawkes Bay we are spoiled for choice when it comes to locally grown and home made goodies. Where possible we purchase fresh produce or use Hawkes Bay made products. Our breakfast menu reflects the seasons and the produce available at that time.
In additions to cereals---------Doug's special Bircher muesli, fresh and lightly stewed fruits, yoghurt and fresh juices, we offer cooked breakfasts.
Our cooked breakfasts are a specialty, with dishes like Eggs Benedict, Salmon Omelette, Scrambled Eggs with Smoked Salmon and Brioche, French Toast with banana and bacon drizzled with a special maple syrup, Pancakes, fresh Hawkes Bay Fish cooked to your liking or more traditional Scrambled Eggs or Omelette with yummy additives or the big kiwi breakfast of Bacon, Eggs and Tomatoes.
