Instructions from North:
Scenic Coastal route
Just past airport look for sign to Napier city: turn left over railway line and travel towards city: cross over estuary bridge continue on and veer left over second railway line and then turn right on roundabout and follow hill around, stay in the left hand lane through 2 more roundabouts which will take you on to the traffic lights. Turn right here on to Georges Drive and follow this to its end which will bring you to another railway line: cross over on to Marine Parade and turn right. This is the main coastal route between Napier Hastings and Havelock North. Follow this road through Clive Township and continue on past Tuckers Wool Scourers on right. After this there is a straight section of road (approx 2 km) At the end of this straight (Mangateretere School on the right)75m further on look for the Havelock North sign and veer off to the Left. This will take you in to the outskirts of Havelock to a roundabout, turn right on Napier road and continue through the next roundabout then turn right at the Irish pub on to Porter Drive: Follow this around, straight through 2 further roundabouts (Havelock Road & Te Aute Road) to the next street right, Middle Road. Turn right on to Middle road and proceed for 100m approx. turn left on to Lucknow Road. Follow Lucknow road to the top of the rise ( Iona College on right Cemetery on left. Road forks, take the right fork (Iona road) past Woodford House Gates on left, first street left is Woodford Heights. Our property is No 14 at the end of the cul-de-sac and up the lane. Sign in Front garden.
Instructions from South:
Pass Lime works on SH2 on left approaching Hastings look for sign post to Havelock North approx 400m further on, turning right over the railway line. Over the railway line and continue along this straight road approx 3 km to T intersection with Longlands road.
Turn right at intersection and continue along Longlands road for approx another 3km which runs into Te Aute road which takes you to the Havelock North village.
Turn right on the roundabout on Porter drive (towards supermarket on left) Turn right at next street - Middle road. Proceed along Middle road 100m turn left on to Lucknow road. Drive up Lucknow to the top of the rise ( Iona College on right and Cemetery on left.) Road forks (with Koponga road going left) Continue right on Iona road past Wood ford House Gates on left, next street left is Woodford Heights. We are at the end of the Cul-de-sac No.14, Sign in Front Garden.
